Has performed at many venues, including Le Poisson Rouge, The Knitting Factory, The Bay Street Theater, The El Rey Theatre.

Conducted The Brussels Philharmonic at the 2018 World Soundtrack Awards in Ghent, and the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the 2018 Oscar Concert in Disney Hall in Los Angeles.

Wrote the concert piece:
Air, 2014, string quartet performed by the Bleecker String Quartet at the Tribeca New Music Festival.


Wrote and performed the music for the following:
The Return of Lot's Wife, 2003, Sara Pearson and Patrik Widrig, at Joyce Theater, N.Y.
RAB, 1984, RUSH Dance, Avignon Festival, France.


Wrote the following essays:
"No Country For Old Music", published in The Oxford Handbook of New Audiovisual Aesthetics, 2013.
"Music at Six", published in the inaugural issue of Espopus magazine in 2003, reprinted in Harper's the following year as "Orchestrating War".

Has taught film scoring at Sundance Composer's Lab, The School of Sound (UK), Columbia University, Buddy Baker Film Music Seminar, Havana Film Festival, Edinburgh Film Festival, Cinesonic (Australia), NYU, ASCAP.

Member of the Harmonic Choir, 1986-1995.
