Carol

Directed by Todd Haynes (Velvet Goldmine, Mildred Pierce), from the book by Patricia Highsmith (also known as The Price of Salt) about a young clerk in 1950's New York who falls for an older woman. Starring Rooney Mara and Cate Blanchett.

To be released November 20, 2015.

Anomalisa

Animated film directed by Charlie Kaufman and Duke Johnson, based on Charlie's play of the same name, originally written under the pen name Francis Fregoli for the Theater of the New Ear project. It stars David Thewlis, Jennifer Jason Leigth and Tom Noonan. It tells the story of a man who sees and hears everyone in the world as the same person, until he discovers a unique, special person, not like anyone else. As most of us do in this situation, he falls in love.

To be released in 2015.

The Family Fang

Directed by Jason Bateman, screenplay by David Lindsay-Abaire, based on the book by Kevin Wilson. Starring Nicole Kidman, Jason Bateman, Christopher Walken. It tells the story of two kids who spent their childhood participating in the performance art projects of their parents, an experience that left them at sea as adults. When their parents disappear, they must decide whether to pursue the mystery - which may just be another art piece - or to take it as an opportunity to leave their childhood behind.

To be released in 2015.

The Finest Hours

Directed by Craig Gillespie, starring Chris Pine, Casey Affleck, Eric Bana and Ben Foster. The true story of a 1952 U.S. Coast Guard rescue. In one of the worst storms to ever hit the East Coast, an oil tanker is split in half off the coast of Cape Cod. On a small lifeboat four members of the Coast Guard set out in frigid temperatures and 70-foot high waves to rescue the more than 30 stranded sailors aboard the rapidly-sinking vessel.
